CPL, in partnership with Toro Energy,design/build combustion equipment conversions for three units to co-fire LFG with both Natural Gas and #2 fuel oil.  Assisted Toro with optimizing the LFG processing and delivery system which allows NASA to run LFG only for 9 months and co-fire the optimum combination of natural gas, #2 fuel oil and/or LFG for the rest of the year.

This project offset approximately 30 MMBtu/hr of natural gas or #2 fuel oil or the equivalent energy needed to power 7,200 homes for one year.

CPL Systems was asked by NASA to present the results of the project at the 13th World Clean Air Congress in London in 2004 .
