TRSWA LFGTE Project

Project Objective:
Design/build and commission compression and dehydration plant at the Three Rivers Solid Waste Authority (TRSWA) landfill in Jackson, South Carolina to deliver 1,800 SCFM of LFG to end user (Kimberly Clark) for use as a primary fuel in boilers. Initial design to have expansion capabilities to final design of 3,000 SCFM with a 45 psig discharge. 

Project Statistics:
  • Pipeline is roughly 16 miles long
  • System integration with Flare Operations
  • Remote communications with end user
  • Based on DOE's Average US household energy usuage of 36.3 MMBtu/yr (10,660 kw-hr/yr), this project presently, offsets the equivalent energy needed to power 7,500 homes for one year
  • Design, build and commissioning of plant in 8 month schedule
